We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (m/f/d) in the area of Rom (Italy).
As Medical Science Liaison (m/f/d) you will deliver face to face scientific and clinical information and services as appropriate. In this role you will manage the important training landscape and foster a close connection with KOLs and physicians.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESAccountable for:
assessing of the medical landscape in the given geography, identifying leading local influential experts (KOLs) and developing and maintaining relationships with academic leaders
the development in cooperation with the Merz Therapeutics team of (medical/commercial) scientific programs and projects
delivering medical / scientific training courses and educational presentations to clinicians
idenifying opportunities to partner with HCPs on disease state initiatives, collaborative research projects and investigator sponsored trials
the contracts and contacts with the KOLs and/or hospitals related to the defined projects and KOL projects
the implementation of scientific projects of strategic and commercial value on Italian level
the development and follow-up investigator-initiated trials related proposals
Support actively:
the KAM’s in the development of their regional KAM plans
the development and implementation of the yearly Business Plan for our Merz Therapeutic business
the involvement of speakers and trainers for the workshops, projects and events
the internal onboarding and training programs from the medical scientific point of view

takes care of proper reporting in the local CRM system
MSL experience or relevant experience in Medical Affairs Department or Clinical Operations department of at least three years
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and industry standards of the Italian pharmaceutical markets
Knowledge of Regulatory Affairs (including pharmacovigilance), legal and compliance regulations and authorities nationally
In-depth knowledge of local, regional, and national healthcare systems and processes for allocation and delivery of care
Track record of successful working with cross functional teams locally and internationally
Ability to exchange scientific ideas and information effectively with KOLs and other HCPs, excellent presentation skills of scientific and medical data to small and large audiences
The ability and interest to understand healthcare professional prospective and forge long term relations of mutual value
Project management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills in Italian and English
Analytical skills (to understand and simplify complex medical opportunities and challenges)
Ability to work autonomously
Valid driving license
