As our Technical Specialist Veeva (m/f/d) you will support our CRM team as a technical expert towards IT and key users as well as represent the business towards development partners. Within our Central Commercial Organization (CCO) department, your task is to coordinate and manage the development of our customer platform with external partners, internal IT, and business functions. In addition, you will support the business in implementing the omnichannel strategy where the Veeva ecosystem builds the foundation of our customer platform. 

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

  • Translate business processes and requirements into functional requirements for development 

  • Collaborate with the CRM team, Customer Data Specialists, and Merz Group IT to create system architecture and interface models 

  • Define and implement development plans aligned with the omnichannel strategy 

  • Act as a technical and process consultant between internal business teams and external development partners 

  • Provide technical support to key users and troubleshoot IT problems 

  • Coordinate and control the platform development: conduct technical feasibility analysis & design solutions, detail requirements, prioritizing of backlog, and follow up on implementation 

  • Work with key users to eliminate implementation hurdles 

  • Evaluate and select solutions in conjunction with the Customer Platform Manager 

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field 

  • Demonstrate an understanding of and experience with Veeva products (CRM + Vault), admin certifications in Veeva CRM & Vault are desirable 

  • Understanding of CRM systems, SAP BW, and interfaces 

  • Experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications 

  • Extensive knowledge of software architecture and mapping tools 

  • Working with cloud-based solutions, APIs, database management, and integration platforms are your daily doing 

  • Strong communication skills, a collaborative working style, and analytical skills are describing your profile
