As our Customer Data Specialist (m/f/d) you are the Data Process Owner of the Central Commercial Organization (CCO). You will support the omnichannel strategy at Merz Therapeutics from the perspective of data (infra)structure, quality, and governance. It will be your target to help Merz Therapeutics become a data driven organization taking decisions based on your data insights. 

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

  • Develop a data (quality) strategy for our customer data platform in line with our omnichannel strategy

  • Ongoing development of data analytics tools, data architecture, and data quality  

  • Work closely with Global Communications, Marketing, Sales, and Pricing to understand their data needs and develop solutions 

  • Collaborate with front-end business intelligence analysts on dashboard creation 

  • Apply machine learning models and algorithms

  • Gather and organize large amounts of data from multiple sources
    (including customer relationship management, content management platforms, master data management)

  • Regularly evaluate data-driven marketing activities and prepare and present results

  • Analyze and model data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform business decisions and provide recommendations to stakeholders

  • Identify gaps, opportunities, and insights to improve performance 

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or related field 

  • In-depth knowledge of data analytics, statistics, and business acumen 

  • Relevant professional experience in the field of data science and advanced analytics, ideally in a pharmaceutical marketing and sales environment 

  • Proficient in the use of statistical and analytical tools 

  • Understanding of data privacy and security regulations 

  • Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and data lakehouse concepts as well as understanding of ETL processes and FAIR data principles 

  • Extensive experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R to query and manipulate data and analytics tools such as PowerBI, SAC, and tableau 

  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken), German desirable 

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with an independent working style and personal accountability  

  • High proactivity, coordination skills, and being a teamworker are describing your way of working best
