As our Head of Region APAC (m/f/d) you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team “Region International Markets”. In this leadership position, you will drive the growth and success of our business in the APAC region. You have the chance to lead, inspire and develop a dedicated team of three, shaping the future potential of Merz Therapeutics in exciting and dynamic markets.



  • Leadership and Team Development: Inspire and lead your team to new heights, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration and drive the expansion of our success story in the APAC region through strategic initiatives

  • Strategic Business Development: Take full P+L responsibility for the assigned region, ensuring effective planning, budgeting and reporting processes

  • Market Analysis: Develop forward-thinking business strategies grounded in comprehensive market analysis, setting and monitoring ambitious goals

  • Product Launch and Marketing: Play a pivotal role in successful product launches, overseeing training for the sales and marketing organization, implementing product strategies, regional marketing initiatives and coordinate impactful medical and sales events

  • Sales Partner Engagement: Optimize the management of sales partners, identifying and engaging with best-in-class collaborators

  • Strategic Partnership Management: Lead the entire pitch process, including contract negotiations and business operations within the APAC partner network

  • Supply Chain Management: Ensure an efficient supply chain by providing precise forecasts, meticulous order tracking and close collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders


  • Business degree (Master/Diploma), preferably in business administration or business management

  • Extensive experience in the international sales environment (ideally in APAC region) preferably of a pharmaceutical or health care company

  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of inspiring and developing high-performing teams

  • Expertise in product launches and marketing initiatives, particularly in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills and experience in managing successful partnership

  • Entrepreneurial and intercultural mindset with strong project management skills
