R&D Project Leader (m/f/d) Botulinum Neurotoxin: Migraine Indication

As R&D Project Leader (m/f/d) Botulinum Neurotoxin: Migraine Indication you will play a central role in the approval of a key indication for the future of Merz Therapeutics. You will lead cross-functional project team within the R&D departments to ensure efficient and result-oriented progress towards the goal and develop a common, positive spirit.   • Compose, lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to drive our development to achieve regulatory approval for the migraine indication as Project Leader

  • Ensure adherence to quality, budget and timelines, taking into account internal project management standards and risk management
  • Monitoring and managing the project budget and participating in the procurement of external providers

  • Regular presentation of project progress to senior management

  • Representing the projects in “Global Product Teams” and ensuring close cooperation with the respective “Asset Leader”
  • Creating the necessary project documentation in accordance with applicable quality standards in cooperation with specialist departments and the Project Management Office
  • Taking over further exciting projects and project teams related to our botulinum neurotoxin


  • Completed university degree, preferably with a doctorate in a life science discipline
  • Several years of experience in the management of clinical projects in various indications and preferably different medical fields

  • Experience in the application of project management methods, ideally with certification as a project manager (PMP, IPMA Level D or similar)
  • Strong social and intercultural skills for the management of multidisciplinary and international project teams
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Independent, analytical, structured and strong implementation skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and German
