As our (Senior) Medical Expert Neurology: Region Europe (m/f/d) you will implement our Medical Affairs strategy for the European Region and drive adaption and alignment across all markets You will be responsible to ensure all relevant Medical Affairs activities in the field of Neurology, specifically Parkinson`s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis to realize our mission “Better Outcomes for More Patients” in the European Region.

 

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

  • Scientific and Medical Expertise: Provide expert knowledge on Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis, stay updated with the latest scientific advancements and clinical trials and conduct literature reviews and disseminate relevant clinical data within the organization.

  • KOL Management and Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals. Organize and participate in advisory boards, symposiums, and congresses and serve as their primary point of contact.

  • Medical Affairs Activities: Drive regional scientific and medical communication in line with the overall strategy in collaboration with our Marketing Team.

  • Training & Education: Deliver medical training and education programs for healthcare professionals and conduct training sessions for local Marketing, Medical, MSL, and Sales teams.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Global Product Teams, Global Medical Affairs, Global Regulatory Affairs, and Global Market Access to support the design and implementation of local post-market authorization studies. Ensure proactive, science-oriented collaboration with non-medical functions (Legal, Marketing, Sales, Communications).

  • Organizational and Process Development: Work in close alignment with SOPs, compliance policies, and procedures. Contribute to compliance reporting.

  • Other Duties: Serve as deputy to team members as needed. Manage local medical information requests and competitive intelligence.

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Medical doctor or PhD in natural sciences with experience in neurology is mandatory
  • Experience in the field of Parkinson Disease or Multiple Sclerosis is a plus

  • Profound experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical CROs

  • Solid project management experience

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in English language with the ability to explain and present complex science

  • Strong teamplayer with Innovative thinking and creative mindset 
  • Ability to travel internationally
