HR Operations Specialist (m/f/d) BeNeLux 60% part-time

Our therapeutic products are aimed at addressing fundamental limitations in the daily lives of our patients. Since 2015, Merz Therapeutics has also been active in the Benelux region. The Benelux head office is located in Oosterhout. In this position, you will be responsible for the financial planning, controlling, accounting and reporting of the Benelux. You will also act as a sparring-partner for the Country Manager.

As an HR Operations Specialist (m/f/d), you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless employee experience. Partnering with our global HR team and reporting to the Finance Manager Therapeutics Benelux , you’ll provide expertise in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, payroll, and more. Your efforts will directly contribute to making MerzTherapeutics Benelux a great place to work, in alignment with our values and policies.
YOUR TASKS

HR Administration Excellence: Ensure accurate and compliant management of employee records, handbooks, contracts, and deadlines while supporting performance and talent development processes with clear communication and organization.

Championing the Employee Experience: Foster trust and engagement by addressing employee concerns compassionately and implementing innovative initiatives that enhance workplace culture and satisfaction.

Streamlined Recruitment & Onboarding: Drive efficient hiring processes by coordinating recruitment efforts, managing applications, and delivering seamless onboarding experiences for new employees.

Payroll & Benefits Mastery: Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring timely and accurate processing of salaries, bonuses, pensions, and employee insurances in collaboration with external partners.

Effective Absence Management: Implement and maintain absence policies, including managing sickness reporting and collaborating with occupational health providers to support employees’ well-being.

Policy Implementation & Compliance: Adapt global HR policies to local needs, ensuring compliance with labor laws while staying ahead of social and regulatory changes.

Proactive Employee Relations: Advise management on labor law matters, address employee issues with professionalism, and promote an inclusive, supportive work environment.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Partner with global HR teams to share best practices, align strategies, and drive innovative solutions for more efficient and engaging HR operations.
YOUR PROFILE

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Administration, 3+ years of relevant experience, and fluency in English and Dutch.

Essential Skills: Strong time management, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, digital acumen, and collaboration abilities.

Technical Expertise: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and SAP (including Ariba and Concur); knowledge of regulatory compliance standards.

Preferred Qualities: Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork experience, and the ability to adapt and lead in dynamic environments.
