Strategic Market Development Analyst (m/f/d)

As Strategic Market Development Analyst (m/f/d) you will support our Head of Strategic Market Development in preparing market insights as part of market and portfolio analyses and deriving strategic projects to strengthen growth initiatives in the regions.

 

YOUR TASKS

• Market and Portfolio Analysis: Collect and analyze international market data, including global market reports. Use that to create detailed market analyses for both regular and ad-hoc inquiries.

• Competitive Monitoring: Oversee competitive intelligence activities and conduct regular analyses of market and brand trends, and proactively share insights within the organization.

• External Network Development: Identify and build a network of external service providers to support cutting-edge market insights generation.

• Internal Collaboration: Connect with internal stakeholders across all functional and regional levels to facilitate regular information exchange on new growth initiatives.

• Growth Initiatives Derivation: Translate market insights into potential business opportunities.

• Strategic LCM Activities: Support the development of strategic lifecycle management measures to expand and secure the existing portfolio.

• Sales Forecasts & Business Cases: Develop sales forecasts and business cases for new products and commercialization models (Go-to-Market Models).

• Presentation Support: Assist in presenting market insights and portfolio evaluations to prepare decision-making templates.

• Ad Hoc Projects: Take on special projects and ensure delivery

 

YOUR PROFILE

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration and ideally gained already experience within the pharmaceutical or (pharma) consulting industry

• Profound experience in the creation, processing and management of complex databases 

• Sound project management skills

• Fluent in English, German and other languages are an advantage

• Analytical and structured team player with the ability to work in a matrix organization

• Conceptual and strategic mindset, acts as a "lateral thinker" with strong presentation, communication and assertiveness skills

• High goal and result orientation with strong intercultural competence
