Scientific Expert (m/f/d) Pain
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Join our motivated team as Scientific Expert (m/f/d) Pain to support the Chronic Pain department in expanding and further developing scientific expertise in the field of chronic pain therapy and specialty neurology.
Your responsibilities will include the following:

Supervision and evaluation of external in vivo, ex vivo and in vitro studies while working in cross-functional teams

Contribution to scientific meetings, database research, and collaboration with pharma companies, contract research organizations, and academic groups

Analysis of mechanisms of action our compounds in chronic pain, exploration of new indication fields and project ideas for based on scientific data
- Assessment of the chronic pain competitive landscape

Supporting initiatives for our Foundational Products (PK-Merz, Memantine, Hepa-Merz) and Investigation of the mechanisms of action of our products

Foster scientific exchange through preclinical publications
YOUR PROFILE
-
Academic degree and PhD in life-sciences
-
Hands-on experience in the field of preclinical pharmacology, preferably in vivo and in vitro
-
Clear track record in pain research is strongly desired
- Practical experience in the field of preclinical pharmacology, pain and neurology and Scientific expertise in the field of neurotoxin
-
Experience in conducting preclinical studies together with CROs or collaboration partners is a plus
-
Know How in cell culture is a plus
-
Fluent in English language with excellent scientific writing skills
-
Innovative, analytical, and creative mindset
-
Excellent communication/networking and presentation skills
