Business Process Owner – Order to Cash (m/f/d)

As our Business Process Owner – Order to Cash (m/f/d) you are responsible for the governance, design and continuous development of global order-to-cash processes. Acting as the central point of accountability for O2C process topics, you ensure standardization, performance and compliance across markets while enabling transformation and supporting business growth. 

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

• End-to-End Process Ownership: Own the global order-to-cash process including governance, standards and KPIs, and act as key decision point for process-related topics 
• Process Design & Standardization: Design and further develop scalable O2C processes, ensuring global consistency while balancing local requirements 
• Transformation & Digitalization: Support and coordinate transformation initiatives (e.g. ERP rollouts, automation, e-invoicing) and contribute to system and process design 
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, IT and service or BPO partners to ensure alignment across the O2C process landscape 
• Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Analyze key performance indicators (e.g. DSO, billing accuracy) and initiate improvement actions to enhance efficiency and cash performance 
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements and audit standards within the O2C process 
• Change Management & Enablement: Support change initiatives through stakeholder communication, training and process adoption across regions 

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in business, finance or a related field 
• Relevant experience in order-to-cash, accounts receivable or end-to-end O2C process environments 
• Experience working across finance, sales, supply chain and shared service or BPO structures 
• Strong understanding of O2C processes, KPIs and performance drivers (e.g. DSO, billing accuracy, cash collection) 
• Experience with ERP systems and data-driven process environments (e.g. SAP ECC/S4 HANA, ideally SD module) 
• Structured and analytical working style with the ability to translate data into process improvements 
• Experience in regulated environments is an advantage 
• Fluency in English; German would be a plus
