Global Business Transformation Lead – SAP S/4HANA (m/f/d)

As our Global Business Transformation Lead – SAP S/4HANA (m/f/d) you will take a central role in leading and driving the SAP S/4HANA transformation for our Therapeutics business within a group-wide program across the Merz Group.

Acting as the key interface between Group functions, implementation partners, affiliates and headquarters, you will ensure alignment, transparency and the successful execution of the transformation roadmap.

In this role, you will play a key role in shaping future-ready business processes, scalable systems and an evolving digital and IT landscape, supporting the company’s long-term transformation journey.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Global Program Leadership: Drive the Tx SAP S/4HANA transformation across regions and functions, ensuring alignment on scope, priorities, timelines and deliverables

• Stakeholder Management & Governance: Act as the central interface between Group functions, implementation partners, affiliates and HQ, enabling effective collaboration and decision-making across complex stakeholder structures

• Transformation Execution: Drive the implementation of global transformation initiatives, proactively managing risks, dependencies and stakeholder alignment while leveraging dedicated project management resources for rollout and execution

• Program Planning & Steering: Oversee program planning, milestone tracking, governance structures and reporting to ensure transparency and reliable delivery across Tx workstreams

• Business Process Harmonization: Drive the implementation of globally aligned and scalable business processes in close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders

• Rollout & Change Coordination: Drive global and regional rollout activities, ensuring organizational readiness, structured communication and stakeholder engagement across markets
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, IT and external partners to ensure aligned execution and support broader transformation and operational excellence initiatives
• Enterprise Systems & Digital Landscape: Contribute to the further development and integration of enterprise systems, supporting a scalable and future-oriented digital landscape

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Business Informatics or a related field
• Several years of experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, ideally in global, multi-entity environments
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as pharmaceutical or healthcare with a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and enterprise application landscapes, including broader digital transformation and IT setup contexts
• Proven track record in driving complex transformation initiatives across multiple regions, functions and stakeholder groups
• Ability to operate effectively in matrix organizations and international governance structures and to influence without formal authority
• Structured, solution-oriented and collaborative working style with a high level of ownership
• Fluent in English; German is desirable
